I was born and raised in Texas, a state with some of the best culinary roots in the country. I had the privilege of growing up around incredible food—from Cajun to Mexican and, of course, BBQ. I’ve always been a foodie, but I really fell in love with cooking as a hobby over the last five years.

They say playing music is the only activity that activates both sides of your brain, but I think cooking does the same. It’s an art and a science. It requires precision yet playfulness, creativity yet cohesion. This blog is just my playful space to write down and share recipes, and I’m happy you’re here.
